Welcome

I hope through these pages you can feel some of the energy that pervades Second Baptist Church.  We are a “loving community transformed by Christ for unbounded service.” That love, transformation and service make for an exciting place to worship the Lord.

I, too am a newcomer, and my wife and I have experienced an incredibly warm welcome from this community of faith that loves God and each other.  I have never seen a congregation that loves its church any more than Second Baptist members do.  Nor have I seen a congregation more committed to making a missional difference for the Kingdom of God.  From  exquisite traditional worship, to excellent Bible study groups, to dynamic ministries for senior adults, students and children, to large ministries such as Upward Basketball, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Vacation Bible School (VBS), to our coed entrepreneurial missions “hothouse” – World Missions Unlimited – Second Baptist is a thriving, healthy church.
