She is survived by three children: John L. Stinson, Jr. and His wife, Priscilla F. Stinson; William L. Stinson and his wife, Lesle L. Stinson; and Susan S. Horner and her husband, Mark A. Horner; by three grandsons: John L. Stinson, III, Peyton W. Stinson, and William L. Stinson, Jr.; by her brothers: Robert L. Johnson, John P. Johnson and Jesse J. Johnson; by her sisters, Mildred J. Weaver and Shirley J. Pauley; and by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, January 3, 2001, at 12:30 p.m. at Westhampton Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Stinson, and by her brothers, Howard R. Johnson, Albert T. Johnson, Earl S. Johnson, and Raleigh C. Johnson.

She was a graduate of the MCV School of Nursing. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, the Country Club of Virginia, and the Tuckahoe Women's Club.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 11 am the Sanctuary at Second Baptist Church, River Road and Gaskins Road. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
