He is survived by his wife; by four children: Jeffrey L. Price, Catherine P. King, Elizabeth P. Morrissey, and Marion R. Price; by five grandchildren; by a brother, Dr. Alfred R. Price. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gwilym Alexander Price and Marion Roberts Price.

A memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15, at Second Baptist Church.

He graduated from Allegheny College in Meadeville, PA, and from Yale Law School.

He was a retired partner of Williams, Mullen, Clark and Dobbins law firm and a member of the Virginia Bar Assocation and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Price was a former chairman of the Chesterfield County Republican Committee and a former member of the Chesterfield County Planning Commission. He served on the board of Family and Children's Services as well as the board of the Barksdale Theater. He was the vice chairman and legal advisor to the founding board of Trinity Episcopal School.
