He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Johns Keesee. He is survived by his children: Megan Elizabeth Keesee, Kelsey Lynn Keesee, and Joshua Gregory Keesee; his father, W. Dodson Keesee of Red Oak; brother, Will Keesee of Montpelier.

He was a member of Second Baptist Church and employed by Suncom Cellular.

Friends may call at Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Johns Family Cemetery in Charlotte County with the Rev. Gene Burris officiating.
