She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd D. Flowers, Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Sara Ellen McKinney; one son, Cloyd D. Flowers, Jr. and his wife, Jane George Flowers; one niece, Junie Davis, and her husband, Lynn Davis; five grandchildren, Kathy Flowers Lawrence and her husband, Ed Lawrence; Lynn McKinney Myer and her husband, Brian Myer; Leslie Flowers Lausten and her husband, Dave Lausten; Jill McKinney Erwin and her husband, Joe Erwin; and Betsy Flowers; also five great-grandchildren: James Lawrence, Harrison Lawrence, Nicholas Lausten, Tatum Myer and Thomas Myer.

Mrs. Flowers was a member of Second Baptist Church, the Monacan Woman's Club and the Country Club of Virginia.

The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. February 27 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2002, at Hollywood Cemetery.
