What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. We are a part of MOPS International. Here are some quick facts about MOPS. For more information, you can also visit their website (www.mops.org) and our group’s blog which we will continue to update throughout the year (www.secondbaptistmops.wordpress.com).
MOPS is all about meeting the needs of moms of children birth through Kindergarten. As a MOPS group, we strive to provide moms with information to meet their needs as they parent young children. We do this through fellowship opportunities with other moms, guest speakers, craft and service projects, etc. Our goal is to make each mom feel like a welcome part of our community.
Childcare is provided. While moms are at MOPS, children will participate in a VeggieTales curriculum through our MOPPETS program.
