Michael has called Richmond his home since 1975. He began working with students in 1982 as a summer student intern. At that time, he felt God calling him to bi-vocational ministry. Since then he has balanced a career in financial services and leearning and development with serving as a student minister in the local church. In 2005, Michael retired from student ministry and he and his family became part of the Second Baptist family of faith.

Michael is currently employed by Capital One as Director of Learning and and Development for U. S. Card. He has been at Capital One since 2000.

Michael's desire is for students to find a personal, grounded faith that leads them to be influential leaders for Christ...in their homes, schools, jobs, and into their adult lives.
