Kathi was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. She met Joe Traficanti while in college in Denver, Colorado. They were married in 1974 when Joe graduated from the Air Force Academy. They have two sons, Nate Traficanti and Taylor Traficanti. Education:

• Masters in Christian Education, Union/PSCE, Richmond VA, 2002
• Bachelor of Arts in Business Education, University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND, 1978

• Served as Minister of Discipleship and Missions at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 2000-2007
• Intern for Discipleship at Third Presbyterian Church, 1999-2000.
• Served as Lay Director of Sunday School for all ages at Gayton Baptist Church, 1995-2000

Discovering and living out the purposes for which God created you is a lifelong journey. Kathi has a heart and desire to help people, through various discipleship, ministry and mission opportunities, discover those purposes. Each day is an adventure to be lived as God unfolds His plans for the church, for His Kingdom and for His children.
