The Finance Committee is the main business management body of Second Baptist. It is responsible for overseeing the budget from creation through monitoring of giving and spending of funds.

Members of the Finance Committee are elected by the congregation for rotating terms of four years, which terms coincide with the calendar year, rather than the church year.
