Recommendations from the Missions Council Regarding the Cell Tower Income
The Missions Council has requested
additional time to craft and collaborate
on short and long term proposals for use
of the cell tower funds. Therefore, at

Sunday, February 14th, we will vote to call pastor Joao da Rocha as the
next pastor of the Second Baptist Church Brazilian Congregation. Learn
more about Second Baptist's Brazilian mission and Pastor da
Rocha's call to ministry and ministerial experience.
Second Baptist Church is collecting specific items to package and
send to Haiti as part of a medical mission trip organized by Bon
Secours Memorial College of Nursing. Each package will be a Ziploc
baggie containing 5-8 bandaids; a washcloth; a comb; a small tube
of toothpaste; a toothbrush; and a 4 piece manicure set. We hope
that church members will purchase multiple numbers of one item
and place them in the collection boxes. The packages will be
assembled after the collection is complete. More details...

Haiti through the Baptist World Alliance,
BWAid. If you wish to participate in this way,
checks may be written to Second Baptist Church.
